MIT president Susan Hockfield and her Harvard counterpart Drew Gilpin Faust were new additions at this year’s “Banned in Boston” held Saturday evening at MIT’s Kresge Auditorium. The spoofy musical revue also featured appearances by Mayor Tom Menino, House Speaker Sal DiMasi, Aerosmith bassist Tom Hamilton, historian Doris Kearns Goodwin, and scientist Eric Lander, best known for his work mapping the human genome. The money raised from the show supports Urban Improv’s programs to combat youth violence.
