They’ve got a new disc due out November 6th, and Aerosmith was among a star-studded lineup of performers on the 2012 iHeartRadio Music Festival’s second night in Las Vegas on Saturday (September 22).
The iconic rock-and-roll band was eager to take the MGM Grand Garden Arena stage, and encouraged fans to check out the performance even if they couldn’t make it to Sin City, tweeting, “If you can’t make it to #iHeartRadio Fest this weekend, stream the show live Saturday night at iheartradio.com/vegas.”
Before stepping out into the spotlight, Aerosmith members Steven Tyler and Joe Perry explained their commitment to the band, saying, “Each thing that we do, we’ve lived for this band, we’ve prepared for this band, we’ve thought about the music.” They went on, adding, “Nothing has changed; we still have to go out there and prove that this song is gonna be the best song.”
